Welcome to the Gaudreau’s family woodworking studio and Fine Crafts Gallery! We hope you will be able to arrange a visit to our scenic location on the north shore of Prince Edward Island in the French Acadian area of Rustico. Our studio overlooks the beautiful Rustico Bay and Wheatley River. Be sure to bring your camera to capture some great shots from our front yard and.... don’t forget your binoculars. The abundant fish in the bay attracts bald eagles, ospreys and herons especially in the early morning and late evening. They call this area “God’s Country” and when you drop by you will agree! As a bonus if you come in the fall you might be able to watch the fisherman raking the oyster beds at the Oyster Bed Bridge. If you come in late June or early July the lupin patch is in full bloom. We treasure our lives as craftsman and would like to share our island with you! Jacques is the studio woodworker that creates the bowls, plates, trays, mirrors and the other great designs right on the premises. You are welcome to visit the second floor observation area for a peek into the shop. Diane displays the woodworking in our spacious gallery along with a collection of pottery gathered from every corner of the Maritimes. It is like visiting 20 potters in one afternoon!
